John G. Louis, LMT, CIMI – Founder & Director

My goal is to make a significant therapeutic change with every visit. My massage therapy career began working full time with professional athletes. In 1989, I founded Massage Therapy Center of Winnetka. Most recently, I served as the massage therapist for the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox baseball team. In addition to operating the clinic, I also own Acuforce International, Inc., a company that makes innovative healthcare products. Since 1999, I’ve served on the Advisory Board of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and serve as a Clinical Instructor for Trinity University, Deerfield, Illinois. Mikayla Cheney, LMT

Certification: AMTA, Prenatal, Craniosacral Practicing Since: 2021 Massage Education: The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois. Valedictorian and Presidential Honors Philosophy:I’ve always had a passion to help others in anyway I could, and massage therapy has given me a great outlet for that. Using a mixture of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage and Craniosacral techniques I work exceedingly hard to help my clients feel their best both physically and mentally. Conditions I often treat are Piriformis Syndrome, Migraine/Headache, Sciatica, Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and posture improvement.

Melissa Corlaciu, LMT

Certification: AMTA Practicing since 2022 Massage Education:The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois Philosophy: As a semi-professional competitive power-lifter Melissa frequently rubs shoulders with athletes who are highly invested in performing and feeling their best as well as preventing injury. Realizing the powerful roll massage plays in achieving this goal drove Melissa to pursue a career in massage therapy. She uses a combination of techniques including myofascial release, Swedish, deep tissue and sports enhancement massage. Engaging and relatable, Melissa helps her clients achieve overall stress reduction, relaxation and balance, muscular and stress relief as well as enhanced sports performance. In her spare time Melissa is usually in the gym training for an upcoming competition.

Felicia Holtz LMT

Certification: AMTA, NCBTMB, Pre-and perinatal Massage Practicing since 2000 Massage Education: Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Upledger Institute Philosophy: I strive to meet each client’s needs with a diverse, ever-expanding assortment of techniques. I utilize Myofascial Release, Swedish and muscle therapy (Deep Tissue) as my primary methods. I draw from Cranialsacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release, Reiki and sound healing for deeper integration of the mindbody complex. It is my great honor and pleasure to work with expectant mothers and their babies. A treatment with me will address pain issues but also be a deeply soothing , nourishing experience.

Jason Kropifko, LMT

Certifications: AMTA, NCBTMB, Performance Enhancement Sports Massage Practicing since: 2004 Massage Education: The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois Philosophy: I listen to each client’s specific needs and try to determine a treatment plan that will best benefit their health and wellbeing. Because each client’s needs vary from one situation to another, I like to fuse together different techniques according to their needs. Some of the techniques I specialize in are: trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques, stress and pain reduction, Swedish, sports, and deep tissue massage.

Danielle Mitchell, LMT

Certification: AMTA Practicing Since: 2017 Massage Education: The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois Philosophy:I believe massage is not just a luxury; it plays an important role in self-care and preventing injury. I listen carefully to my client’s specific treatment goals and tailor their massage to meet those goals. I use a combination of techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stress/pain reduction, Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage and body mobilization/stretching. I love my job and having my clients walk out the door refreshed, relaxed, happy and able to move more fluidly than when they came is is a great reward.

Jessie Santos, LMT

Certification: AMTA, Cupping, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), BA in Phycology and Kinesiology University of Illinois Practicing Since: 2017 Massage Education: Estelle Medical Academy/European Massage Therapy School. Philosophy: I address each treatment and client holistically. I look beyond the physical aspects, therefore, consider lifestyle, occupation and stress factors. I involve the client with educating them on my findings and how the above factors can effect the body. Being a former athlete makes me passionate about working with fellow athletes; however, I enjoy working with all types of people. I’m passionate about helping clients heal from debilitating pain and stress that keeps them from fully living their lives and doing the things they love. I am experienced in sports, therapeutic and medical massage.

Marissa Motsinger –Office Administrator

Marissa’s warm personality and attention to detail have fostered a smooth transition to our administrative team. Highly organized and energetic, Marissa offers exceptional support to our clients and staff. Although a native to the Northshore, her love for people and adventurous spirit have had her living in El Salvador and California in recent years.

Kara Criss-Office Administrator

As the welcoming face of our clinic, Kara brings a warm and friendly demeanor to each interaction. Kara is highly organized and efficient at managing appointments and facilitating smooth operations. With a solid knowledge of massage therapies, Kara is always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations tailored to individual needs. In her free time, Kara enjoys the outdoors, music, art and movie nights with family and friends.
