John G. Louis, LMT, CIMI – Founder & Director

Raymond Smith, Evanston, Illinois
I tailor-make each treatment based on my client’s unique needs at his/her time of service. My goal is to make a significant therapeutic change with every visit. My massage therapy career began working full time with professional athletes. In 1989, I founded Massage Therapy Center of Winnetka. Most recently, I served as the massage therapist for the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox baseball team. In addition to operating the clinic, I also own Acuforce International, Inc.
, a company that makes innovative healthcare products. Since 1999, I’ve served on the Advisory Board of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and serve as a Clinical Instructor for Trinity University, Deerfield, Illinois. I’m also a columnist for Massage Today Magazine.

: I strive to meet each client’s needs with a diverse, ever-expanding assortment of techniques. I utilize Myofascial Release, Swedish and muscle therapy (Deep Tissue) as my primary methods. I draw from Cranialsacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release, Reiki and sound healing for deeper integration of the mindbody complex. It is my great honor and pleasure to work with expectant mothers and their babies. A treatment with me will address pain issues but also be a deeply soothing , nourishing experience.

AMTA, NCBTMB, Performance Enhancement Sports Massage
The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois
I listen to each client’s specific needs and try to determine a treatment plan that will best benefit their health and wellbeing. Because each client’s needs vary from one situation to another, I like to fuse together different techniques according to their needs. Some of the techniques I specialize in are: trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques, stress and pain reduction, Swedish, sports, and deep tissue massage.
Danielle Mitchell, LMT
: The Soma Institute – Chicago, Illinois
I believe massage is not just a luxury; it plays an important role in self-care and preventing injury. I listen carefully to my client’s specific treatment goals and tailor their massage to meet those goals. I use a combination of techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stress/pain reduction, Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage and body mobilization/stretching. I love my job and having my clients walk out the door refreshed, relaxed, happy and able to move more fluidly than when they came is is a great reward.
Jessie Santos, LMT
AMTA, Cupping, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), BA in Phycology and Kinesiology University of Illinois
: Estelle Medical Academy/European Massage Therapy School.
I address each treatment and client holistically. I look beyond the physical aspects, therefore, consider lifestyle, occupation and stress factors.
I involve the client with educating them on my findings and how the above factors can effect the body. Being a former athlete makes me passionate about working with fellow athletes; however, I enjoy working with all types of people.
I’m passionate about helping clients heal from debilitating pain and stress that keeps them from fully living their lives and doing the things they love. I am experienced in sports, therapeutic and medical massage.
